Deleting your LTX account
To delete your LTX account, first cancel your active subscription, then email us with your deletion request. Account deletion is permanent, accounts cannot be restored, and all projects and data will be lost.
Requesting account deletion
To delete your LTX account and remove data from our platform:
Go to your account settings. (Important: Please double check you're logged in using the correct email address that you originally subscribed with.)
Under My Plan, click Cancel Plan and follow the prompts until you see a confirmation message.
After canceling, email us with your refund request. Use the description box to explain your request, and use the email address associated with your LTX account that you want deleted.
How long it takes
Once we receive your request, your data and accounts will be permanently deleted from all Lightricks apps within 30 days. We'll send you an email letting you know we received your request. This email will also include a request ID, which you can use as a reference number to contact us in regards to your deletion request at any time.
You’ll get an email once the deletion process is complete.
What happens after you delete your account
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
You will permanently lose:
All LTX projects, scenes, images, and videos.
Access to the platform with your current login.
The ability to recover any assets – saved or unsaved.
Any unused credits.
We strongly recommend downloading anything you want to keep before requesting deletion. The transfer of assets to another account is not possible.
The following data is permanently deleted:
All projects and assets stored in your account.
Your account credentials and personal profile info.
Biometric data (if used), such as facial or voice models (see our Privacy Policy ↗, page 12)
Data retention and legal obligations
While most of your data is removed, we may retain limited information only where legally required, such as:
Basic billing or transaction records — for tax and financial reporting compliance (see our Privacy Policy ↗, page 34)
Minimal logs for fraud prevention or legal claims — retained only as necessary (see our Privacy Policy ↗, page 34)
Records of credits usage — stored for up to 3 months (see our Refund and Cancellation Policy, page 1)
These records are securely stored and are not used for marketing, profiling, or analytics.
