Why am I seeing an additional tax charge at checkout?
Additional taxes may appear at checkout based on your billing location. In some countries, they’re added on top of the listed price. In others, tax is already included.
Understanding local tax charges
LTX follows local tax regulations, which vary by region. Taxes are calculated based on your billing address and applied automatically during checkout.
In some regions (like the United States, Canada, and Brazil), tax is added at checkout. Example: A Lite Annual plan listed at $144 may show $144 + $xx.xx tax at checkout.
In most European countries, taxes (such as VAT) are already included in the listed price. Example: Lite Annual will appear as $144 on both the Pricing and Checkout pages.
Note: LTX does not control these charges. They’re required by local tax laws.
Where to see the tax breakdown
Any applied tax will be clearly shown:
On the Checkout page, before payment
On your receipt, after purchase
How to avoid incorrect taxes
To make sure the tax is calculated correctly:
Use a billing address that reflects your actual location.
Pay with a card registered to your name and billing address.
Avoid making purchases while traveling if possible.
