Videoleap Policy
Looking to monetize your Projects? We are happy to give some clarity on commercial use of your Videoleap Projects. Please note that the terms that apply to our app on iOS devices is slightly different to those that apply to the app on Android devices.
While many of the tools and features within both apps can be used commercially, there are some exceptions with regard to third party stock images/videos/stickers/music within the apps that we'd like to outline for you.
Stock on iOS devices
- Stickers from GIPHY cannot be used commercially
- Images/videos from Getty Images can be used commercially, but only if a change was made to them. This means trimming a few frames, applying a filter, or even just including the image/video with other assets and effects.
- Images/videos from Pixabay, check on their Terms of Use here.
- Audio from Storyblocks can be used for commercial use. That said, we are aware that some platforms may reject the use of certain assets. If you do run into any issues when using Storyblocks commercially from Videoleap, please reach out to our Customer Experience Team here. We work very closely with Storyblocks to have such claims removed.
Stock on Android devices
- Audio from Epidemic Sound is available for commercial use. That said, we are aware that some platforms may reject the use of certain audio tracks. If you do run into any issues when using Epidemic Sound commercially from Videoleap, please reach out to our Customer Experience Team here. We work very closely with Epidemic Sound to have such claims removed.
In all other respects, your Projects can be used commercially as long as you have permission to use the image/videos in your Project. Please note, however, that where any AI tools have been used, we cannot provide legal advice with respect to your proposed commercial use. In this regards, we have included links below to our Terms of Use and AI Terms Use, and suggest that you seek independent legal advice on the applicability of our Terms to your specific project and proposed commercial use.
