How to write great AI prompts for creative use
Prompts are the text descriptions that you give to an AI image generator to create a specific image or style.
Here’s our guide to mastering the art of crafting AI Prompts for show-stopping images!
- Be specific. The more specific you are in your prompt, the better the AI will be able to understand what you want. Instead of a vague "cat", why not envision "a tabby cat lounging on a sunlit windowsill"?
- Use keywords. When you're describing the subject of your image, use keywords that the AI will understand. For example, if you want to create an image of a cityscape, use keywords like "buildings," "streets," and "lights."
- Add adjectives. Adjectives can help the AI understand the mood or style of the image you want to create. For example, if you want to create a dreamy image, you could add adjectives like "misty," "hazy," or "foggy."
- Avoid conflicting terms. Don't use terms that have opposite meanings in the same prompt. For example, don't say "a realistic abstract painting."
- Experiment. Don't be afraid to experiment with different prompts to see what works best. The more you experiment, the better you'll get at writing good AI prompts.
If at first you don’t strike gold, fret not! Tweak that prompt and watch as the magic morphs closer to your vision. With a little practice and patience, you’ll guide the AI to conjure up images beyond your imagination!
